Specialties Summertime Deck and Dock focuses on providing unique and custom solutions to our clients' outdoor construction needs. We construct everything from docks to gazebos to decks to arbors and trellises. We are licensed (General Contractor's License - CGC1511647) and insured to ensure we are able to complete both commercial and residential projects without any exposure or liability to our clients. Unlike many of the other builders in the area, we approach the projects with an "outside-the-box" mindset built upon a solid engineering foundation, resulting in a unique and solid completed project for you to enjoy for years to come. History Established in 2008. Summertime was established in 2008 to provide an outlet for creative and physical energy that was being pent up inside the owner, Robin Lopez. Robin has previously worked as an engineer at Lockheed Martin as well as patent agent for his own boutique patent agency, Brainstorm Patents. While these endeavors were mentally engaging, they did not allow for any physical constructs or outdoor enjoyment. The desire to get outside drove Robin towards opening Summertime Deck and Dock and offering clients a fresh perspective on deck and dock construction.
